Original 1940s velvet and crepe evening dress. 

The dress is designed with a monochrome collar embellished with black sequins and has a fitted silk velvet bodice, trimmed with a bow at the back. The skirt is made in a heavy cream crepe, gathered at the waist and full lneght. Unlined. 

Fabric: silk velvet with rayon heavy crepe. Appliqued with sequins.

Fastening: metal side zip

Condition: good condition, marking to hem. The dress has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear.

As with most vintage items, this dress has been previously worn and is over 50 years old.
